  1. What are these ports for? It’s impossible to find a detailed diagram for this motherboard. I just purchased this tub and was told the water feature and lights don’t work. I intend to fix these myself, at least the lights, but am not sure where to start. All the wiring/control box/power source for the lights look fine. Thanks in advance for any help.
  2. Hello! We just bought a new home that came with a 2015 Hot Springs Limelight Flair tub. I have a couple issues I’m hoping someone can help me with. After finally figuring out how to turn on the water feature, we noticed that it appears to be ‘squished’ in the centre, only allowing water to pass through the edges - so instead of a smooth waterfall, it comes out like a V. Is there any way to fix this or would the ‘feature’ need to be replaced? Secondly, we noticed that quite a few lights are out - a few in bunches in the same area - and some of the plastic caps over the lights are cracked, one is completely off and appearing like it’s shorting out the light (assuming water is getting at it). Are swapping out bulbs and the caps an easy thing to do on my own? It’s currently winter here so would likely wait until the spring to change them and caulk them as it’s very cold out. Thanks in advance.
  3. Firstly, Thank you to this forum for helping me diagnose some of the problems in the hot tub that came with our recent house purchase. I was able to find the 3 parts I needed to replaced cracked fittings, etc. and get our hot tub up and running! Next issue! So we have a 2008 (pretty sure, at work...can't verify via Serial) Hot Springs Limelight Flair hot tub. The audio system we have is an Aquatic AV AQ-DM-2BX (http://pdf.nauticexpo.com/pdf/aquatic-av/aq-dm-2bx/29159-60043.html) that accepts the old-school style 30-pin iPod style connectors. So in the process of getting it (the hot tub up and running) I tried using the audio system but it doesn't work. It powers on fine, iPod connects, but no sound. I take that front panel off and see there's a wiring harness connected, but there's the red/white RCA cables that are not hooked up to anything. I'm ASSUMING this is my problem, but I have no clue where these should be connected. I can't find any sort of wiring diagram online to show me. is this something that might be located inside the IQ panel? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks again for all of your help!
  4. Went out to hot tub running, but no heat. Recently replaced heater, been running fine for a few months. See picture below. Thank God house didn't burn down! Thinking maybe electrician didn't hook these up very well, as it looks like maybe that's what caused this? This doesn't look like the normal relay burned out normal problems, does it? https://www.dropbox.com/s/lgn7630cx9osmhs/2017-12-21 21.55.46.jpg?dl=0
  5. New to this forum. I have a 2013 Hot Spring Limelight series hot tub which I have had zero issues with until recently. I noticed the display letters/numbers started flickering and going off and on intermittently. Luckily, I was able to turn off the pumps and lights before the control head totally died! I removed the panel from the tub body and disassembled it, only to find that the silicon pad (3 buttons) on the left side which controls the jets and "mode up" and "mode down" settings was cracked around the base, allowing water to penetrate into the head and drip right onto the circuit board. My thoughts are this is a very poor design and if there was even a cover over the circuit board to divert water away from dripping directly onto the board, this never would have happened. Also, any parts searches are showing this control head as a complete assembly when it is easily able to be disassembled by removing a few screws. Does anyone know of a place where I can order the separate components that I need rather than having to shell out $320. plus shipping for a new unit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  6. It seems so hard to figure a fair price on any hottub no matter where you call. No pricing anywhere online, I'm just looking for a current MSRP on a HotSpring Limelight Flair model. thx
  7. Hello Everyone, I have been reading around the forums and learning a lot but still have some trouble. I am looking into getting a open style tub with no lounge. I like the idea of a 7ft or larger tub that is at least 36 inch deep. I am 6'4 and need the extra space. The other people that will be getting in the tub are also tall. I am running into problems trying to figure out what model to pick, the cleaning of the water and getting the most bang for my buck. The two places I have here locally are Hot Spring and Jacuzzi. Both look great but I am not sure what one to go with and what is better with each model. I am not that concerned about how many jets there are or the type of jets. I normally turn off the jets or set them on a very low setting when in a tub. Here is the ones I am looking at so far: Hot Springs Hot Spot Rhythm - $6k Hot Springs Limelight Pulse - $10k Jacuzzi J-345 - $7500 Jacuzzi J-385 - $9k I like the idea of the ACE system for the Pulse but is it worth the extra money now and when I need to update it? I could also do without this and I hear you can get the water to a super clean level using silver ion? I would like to avoid high use the chemicals to avoid skin irritation. Will the Rhythm keep the water as clean as the Pulse or the Jacuzzi tubs? I see the Jacuzzi tubs have a system called ClearRay. How does this compare to the Hot Spring filtration? How is the build quality of each? Any help you can give between Hot Spring and Jacuzzi will really help. Thanks!
  8. Looking at a used 2003 Hotsprings Prodigy for $3500 vs new 2012 Jetsetter or Limelight for almost double that ($6600/$6000). All are from a reputable dealer. The used Prodigy was (reportedly) well taken care of; owner traded for new smaller HS tub when moving from large home to a townhome. It comes with 1 year warranty. I'd like a 7 - 10 year life for the tub. Thoughts?
  9. Hello everyone, I am a fairly new user who has been reading many articles on here for a few years. I am just about to make a purchase on a hot tub and can use some advice. I have been considering a Limelight Pulse and a Jacuzzi J-365. We wet tested the jacuzzi and liked the feel a lot, and liked the appearance moderately. All dealers in our area are unable to let us wet test a Pulse as they either dont have any, or the ones they have are sold and cant be filled. To get the Pulse we would have to order without a wet test. We like the Pulse looks better, but are not sure about the feel. The dealer who we would purchase from has told us Jacuzzi jets have less pressure and therefore for my wife who is sensitive to the feel, would like the Jacuzzi better. Would everyone agree with that? What are everyones thoughts in regards to quality J365 vs Pulse? The deal we have on the J365 is: $9100 + tax, includes: delivery (we are 1.5 hrs away), hook up and filling with water, orientation, spa lifter, steps, and chemicals. Thoughts? Thanks in advance everyone!
