I have an arctic spa with an inaccurate temp level on the screen. When it is set at 104 it only gets to 90ish. I purchased a new regulation probe and have been sticking it in the top of the tub. Same issue. If I pull it outside the heater kicks on and I can get the tub very hot...111. Currently the tub is at 100deg set at 104 (not heating anymore) and the display reads 107 degrees. I am checking true temp with a quality meat thermometer. Any suggestions?

Hey guys, I am looking to buy my first hot tub and am looking or some help. I live in Edmonton and have access to most major Canadian brands/dealers. From word of mouth I have heard mostly good about beachcomber and bad about arctic spa, but have been frustrated trying to find consumer feedback on most spa brands online before finding this forum. I am hoping you guys can give me some experienced feedback which brands best suit what I am looking for. I have been in beachcombers before but really lack exposure to other brands. My first priority is the most reliability you can get from a hot tub in Edmonton's extreme cold and temperature swings. Inside the warranty window and beyond, I don't want a hot tub that is constantly broken down or that will need to be replaced within the next decade. I would like a 6 seater minimum, to seat family and friends but do not want to spend more than $14k CAD on a spa. Jet power and massage aren't super important to me, I just want a spot to relax. So far my favorite is the Beachcomber 590 Hybrid4. I like the simplicity (minimal electronics to fail) and seating layout although it is right up against my budget and I understand the risk the pump location under the steps carries. I have read that the dealer and service provided under warranty is very important and I will be sure to do that research once I can get it narrowed down to a few brands. Thanks for any help!

Hi, I have an 2010 Arctic Spa Tundra. Recently pump 2 stopped working. I took it apart and found that the impeller shaft broke off. I am trying to find the same impeller to install but there is no part number on it. The most I can find is BF and the green, brown, blue, red, and black stripes. Here are some photos of the parts/damage: https://imgur.com/a/DnUnFFi Can anyone help me locate this impeller? The inlet/outlet of the pump is 2.5" and 2" if that helps. Let me know if any more info is necessary to find the correct part. Edit: I think I found the part. Can anyone confirm I have this correct: https://arctichottubparts.com/impeller-pentair-1-spd-north-american.html Also I was going to pick up the seal assembly as well just in case (is this the correct one): https://arctichottubparts.com/pump-wet-end-viton-seal-assembly-pentair.html Thanks!

Just wondering if anyone else ownes an arctic spa baffin 45. I cant find any thing about them online anywhere. Just wanted to compare experiences with someone who owns the same tub to see if they have run into the same problems as me. Namely, the jets powered by pump 1 being very under powered. Pump 1 shutting down occasionally. And filter bypass valve breaking. Thanks, Josh.

My names josh. I have a 2019 arctic spa hot tub it has a gecko in.k300 control panel. I have 2 questions! Question 1: When I try to put my spa into econony mode by holding the lights button for 5 seconds, the option is not there. It goes straight from the filter settings to temperature unit with no option to set economy mode. How do I fix this? Question 2: As well, while trying to figure out why I didn't have economy mode, I held the lights button down for about 15 seconds thinking maybe there was a way to reset it so it would show economy mode. I dont know what this did. Did I damage anything? Suddenly the display started flashing random messages. I pressed the lights button once more and all the pumps turned on then the heat display started flashing and stopped displaying the temperature instead just showing 3 dashes. I do not know what I did. I ran and turned the breaker off to the hot tub. When I turned it on again the heat display was still flashing 3 lines. After a few minutes it has a temperature shown again. I am just worried I might have changed a setting I shouldn't have. Thanks, Josh.

Hello All This question is to all Arctic Spa owners who use Onzen (Salt System) How often do you change an Electrode (cell) ? Any way to make it last longer ? They have 5 plate and 3 plate version - will 5 plate one last longer ? What is the main reason it breaks ? Will cleaning it every month help ? Looks like it could be a huge maintenance issue - Electrode(every 3 month) + PH Probe (every year) 4 Electrodes + probe a year = 110*4+220 = $660 a year!! + salt and chemicals. Would be nice to hear the system owners Thanks Thank you !

Hi, So I've been reading on here how to fix my spa. Pump 1 wasn't working and I was getting a FLO error message. I checked the intake and the reset the hot tub didn't work. I checked and pump 1 wasn't even making any noise when I tried to turn it on, so I thought fuse. When I was going to take the fuse out for pump 1 I accidentally shorted the fuse with my pliers, there was a large spark. (I had forgotten to flip the breaker, I know rookie mistake) I replaced the fuse and turned the hot tub back on but there was nothing. No power, no controls, pump 2 didn't work which it did before. Can anyone tell me what shorting the pump 1 fuse would've done? I thought maybe it blew a different fuse but I couldn't find anything else that was blown. I have a M class spa system circuit with 2 pumps - 2005 Arctic Yukon. See picture below, I will highlight the fuse that I shorted. I have a multimeter and I could work forward to see where the power stops but I'm not sure where to start. thank you for any help.
