  1. i have pictures but having difficulty pasting into reply. Any ideas? Thanks! MFP
  2. Just wanted to touch base with everyone and give an update on how the spa is currently running......I seriously could not be happier with this purchase. My wife and kids use it almost every night. I just finished a landscaping project around the spa which in my oppinion looks incredible. The only negative comment I can say about the experince was the length of time it took for delivery however, the enjoyment now outweighs the wait. Thanks for listening, reading and responding to this post. I will post pictures in the next couple of days! Thanks again~ Mcpetran
  3. I have a quick question on filtration cycles - I live in Indiana and was curious on the suggested amount of time I should have the spa pump running. I have had it running continuous but that seems like overkill to me. It looks like i have several options (2,4,6,8) every 12 hours. Thanks for your help!
  4. I suggest you call the shipping company directly and speak with Sherry - She manages the routes and will give you the cell phone number of the drivers. Good luck!
  5. Update: Spa has been hooked up and running for about 3 days now. It is working perfectly and the whole family loves it! Just wanted to thank everybody for all of the help and advice. I would like to post pictures in the next week or so.
  6. Hey, thanks Tony - I found the valves - There were two in this tub however I am having difficulty finding the drain. Any ideas? Thanks!
  7. one more question - I am having difficulty finding the drain. What does it look like and where is it usually? Thanks again for all of your help! I want to make sure the tub is fairly clean before I fill this beast. Thanks again!
  8. Need help! - Spa has been delivered and placed and waiting for electrician. The electrician is going to be here on Monday therefore he is requesting that I fill the tub. Therefore, I am planning on filling today - However need advice on a couple of things: * In the Owner's Manual, it states to make sure "slice valves" should be in the open position before filling. Can anybody shed some light on what these look like and where they are located? * It sounds to me like I should remove the filter lid and place the hose direcly into the filter housing. Does this sound correct? * My plan was to fill it today without chemicals - Then when electric is on(tomorrow), throw in the chemicals and turn this thing on. Does anybody disagree? Sorry about all of the questions - I am a newbie and have no idea what I am doing. And I really appreciate all of the help!

  11. Just wanted to correct above post in regards to "no sales tax if ordered online." Please read below which was taken from Costco.com. Sales Tax In accordance with applicable state and local laws, we are required to charge sales tax in localities where Costco has operations. Costco does not benefit from the collection of sales tax and we remit all taxes collected directly to the appropriate taxing jurisdiction. As a general rule, it is the laws of the state of delivery that determine whether sales tax will be due on your transaction. The appropriate sales tax amount will be displayed on the check out section of the site. Sales tax is charged, on both merchandise and related shipping and handling charges, for orders delivered to addresses within the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MD, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NM, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VT, VA, WA and WI Sales tax is charged on merchandise only for orders delivered to addresses within the following states: ID, MA and UT
  12. ok - i have good news - My spa that ordered on July 2nd (first day of the sale) has been delivered and placed in my backyard. I paid the guys $150. It looks amazing! I am very excited and have a call out to my electrician to see if he can fit me in tomorrow. I will keep you updated and post pictures (if I can figure out how) tomorrow. Thanks for listening!
  13. ok - still waiting on a call from the shipping company - This is starting to get ridiculous! I feel if the Costco website displayed "approximately 4 weeks" for delivery, Costco has an obligation to follow through with the delivery in the time frame specified. I am to the point where I am seriously thinking about cancelling my order and heading to the nearest Spa Dealership.
  14. Let me just give my oppinion on the service that I received so far from Costco. Personally, I believe it has been quite poor. I ordered this tub on July 2nd and my email confirmation clearly states "approximately 4 weeks from the time of order." I still have not received my tub and we are going on 6, yes, I said 6 weeks. I have emailed Costco numerous times and basically been given the same "form email" requesting me to contact the shipping company. I finally received a call from the shipping company last friday and tub should be here this week. Costco prides itself on exceptional customer service and quite frankly the service that I have received has been poor at best.
  15. Here is the update on the tub that I ordered July 2nd -On Friday August 10th, I received a call from the shipping company stating my tub was being placed on the truck. I should be receiving a call from the driver in the next couple of days to obtain an estimated time of delivery. Updates and pictiures will follows.
