  1. No we had no thought of that but it is a good idea. It does look like it needs something to cover the PT wood.
  2. Hot tub came last Friday and we have been in it every day. We are actually looking forward to cold weather. Thanks to everyone for all the info in the past. I really liked seeing pics when I was researching so here are some of my installation. Retaining wall and pavers put in about 2 years ago. Small stones mark where tub is going. Making the Platform Homemade jig for making wedges to level patio. Finished frame with composite decking. I don't think that's going to fit. We had to remove some of the retaining wall blocks. Now What Another view On the platform at last now I feel better. The tub really looks nice now with the wrapping off.
  3. Hi there, I too have an LA Spa, I have found that a paper filter works just fine in my concord tub. Here is the number of filter that I have been using FC-0315 by Filbur also replaces the 6CH-47 it is 6"x9" w/1-1/2 theards. Hope this helps. Just wondered why you went to the paper filter? Did you find that LA Spas filters did not last long? How long do the paper filters last and how much do they cost?
  4. Nfuego, Thanks for posting of your experience with LA Spas. I have been lurking on this forum for about a year and have seen very little info about LA Spas. They are one of only two spa dealers in my area. I have a question to any LA Spa owner especially any one who has owned one for over a year. Are you having any problems with the jets falling out or the pillows peeling? I went to look at a friends HEET which is about three years old and it had 8 jets which broke and fell out. They were very brittle. Not sure if this was from bad water chemistry or just weak material. His pillows also were peeling and looked bad. The tub did look somewhat neglected (leaves and dirt in tub)
