  1. All, I think I posted one of the early posts and had some issues with my system plumed incorrectly. After fixing the pluming myself which was not all that difficult my SunPeak spa is working fine. I live in Texas and so far I keep the spa set about 96 and will increase those numbers as it gets cooler. The over all quality of spa just fine it's using standard parts which you can get online anywhere or from Infinity. You have I think a 5 year warranty so just call them and they will send you the parts and pay for a pool and spa person to fix it or you can do it yourself. I chose to do it my self because I can get it done faster. Anyway, no matter what you buy in life there may be issues and nothing is perfect. Infinity for my troubles did send me some accessories for my spa which was nice. As far as price its still a good deal. If you want all the extra bells and whistles then pay 4k more and get some of those other features that spa dealers will sell you. All panels do open for access. This is probably the hardest part because of so many screws. The sub zero liner is kind of cheap but I am sure it does its job, if you are really worried about insulation then you can always buy more and add to it. Over all I don't think you can go wrong the the spas from infinity. They also sell their spas on ebay under Recreational Warehouse. The 6HP rated motors are just fine and have plenty of power and two speeds. Cheers, CCdallas
  2. Well Finally.... My Sunpeak spa is working. I found that the spa was plumbed incorrectly from the manufacturer. I had both pumps going into the diverter valve causing a back flow problem which was causing the impellers to break. I think they need to work on their quality control at the plant. I had to get a proper drawing of the correct plumbing, then once I cut the pipes and spliced the PVC it all works. They did send me the hardware. I would have made the spa tech fix it but I was tired of waiting and wanted it done. My concern was voiding the warranty but they said it wouldn't so I took the risk and did it myself. Now that its working its all good. The Jets are very powerful and there is a ozone system in it. CCDALLAS
  3. I think its built o.k. The foam is standard spray foam. The sub zero insulation is very thin. I am not sure if other spas are the same, I never had a chance to look inside of them to compare. As I look at the inside of this spa it pretty simple design internally. All the parts seem to be standard spa parts., everything looks pretty easy to replace. Overall its well built I give it a 7 out of 10. but ror me sofar the pump parts are flawed. Once this issue is resolved I can move on. CC
  4. I am on my third pump from infinity for my sunpeak spa. The impeller keeps snapping in the middle. They think it just might be a bad batch. I still have not had a chance to use the spa since May and so far I am just sad and disappointed. I think the quality of the spa looks nice and if it would all work, I would say its a good deal. I have had nothing but bad luck so far and I am not sure how many more times I can replace the pumps.I wonder if there is something clogged in the system. I have had these problems on pump 1 and pump 2. I finally decided to install it my self. I am tired of waiting over a week for a tech to come out for 30min of work. I put in the new impeller today and half my jets still don't work and I have no idea why I have tried everything. After turning things off and on hoping it would start bam the new impeller broke again. I called and they will be sending me a new one. I will give it one more try then I will yell for them to fly a tech to my location to resolve or I will try and send back to costco. (I have no idea on how I will do that because the spa is very heavy and bulky) CHEERS, CC
  5. Well I just bought in May a Sunpeak spa from Costco and the Spa its self is great! But...... Here are the problems I had. The truck that delivered the spa was an huge 18 wheeler which came to the front of my house for delivery. my house is rear entry via alley. I was requested to tip the delivery guy from the driver to help set the spa. They normally dont don't set the spa in any location so I guess tipping was ok. If they don't you would need about 4 people and a furniture dolly to do it yourself. The truck made it down my alley but tore a few trenches in the neighbors yards which caused some issues. I had a pump problem where the inside shattered and I had to have a tech order a part and I am still waiting for that to be fixed. The cost for electrical to be installed cost me about 1300.00 which I think was a bit high for me but it is what it is. Overall its taken almost 3 months for me to get a functional spa. I am sure this week it will be finally working and I doubt if anybody else will have the issues I had. I cant really blame the infinity spa people for the broken part. This stuff just happens sometimes. I'll let you know the over all spa expiereence next week when I finally have a chance to use it. CC
