Hi, I just got my neighbour's 2007 CalSpa. It needed some work and it needs to be up and very running soon since we just had our first snow. The sides were falling apart so I used some PL Premium to stick it together. It looks pretty rough on the sides but pretty good in-front. Can I use this same glue with tape to form to fix the broken bits on the sides and corners or is it an epoxy tape and fill? Those sides are mostly hidden. Should I have just replaced the sides? Thank you, Philippe PS Is there any use or value in gluing Reflective Insulation on the back?

I have one pump that works well as shown in the picture with its specifications. The wiring is all new with a 40 amp GFCI that is installed 5 feet from the hot tub. I would install the top side controler into the frame I built instead of cutting the fiberglass.

The guy does not have the top controler but said 300$ for all. Deal? First I guess I need a top side. What can I buy for top side controler? I only have a jets on button and a light button. The other 2 outside nobs regulate the amount number of bubbles.

Someone one on Kijiji is selling all the insides of their hot tub. Is it universal? What questions do I ask? Are all 3 parts a good idea? Price? Any ideas what the added wires in the top right did? Temperature? On off? Picture with "Wires to ?" written in red on it. Previous owner added them but they were cut off when I got it, so I removed them since they were not in the original schematics. Thank you. Previously, I had thought my Square D 40 amp spa pack and breaker would be enough protection. We have enjoyed using it but we have just a few weeks before we shut the Spa down in September. I will start looking for a control system worthy of a 25 + year old tub for next year. The search begins in Manitoba. I appreciate all your help.

I am new to the hot tub world....So a hot tub is not supposed to hit 120 F? I was going to put onions, carrots and noodles in it to make soup. 😂 I seem to have it under control now but I am guessing the simplest/most cost effective replacement would be worlds better that what I have. Can I just find one on of a used machine?

I was given and I have installed a Sunrise Spa from 1997 at the cottage for summer use only. It was in a garage until now. It has a Aqua Spa Pak model ASP-2000-6-yoDoes anyone have a manual? It seems to work quite well for its age, but I have trouble getting it to heat up sometimes. The heat dial (it does not have a LED temperature setting) seems to work but I get 98 F and other times 115 F. Does it heat up better with or without the jets on? What does the High limit reset do exactly? Sometimes when I press the High limit reset the heater light goes on but usually it does not. Is the heater on only when the red light is on? The previous owner had a few extra wires hooked on the main board that I am not sure what they did but want to restore. I will put a picture below and maybe reinstalling this may help. I am guessing a thermostat and on/off. I would also appreciate suggestions to fix heating temp and for where to get parts down the road. Thank you.
