Can anyone who is using chlorine in a floater give me some advice? I have a 450 gallon tub and it seems like my chlorine spikes whenever I put the floater in. I have like 5 mini 1” tablets in it and it is only open 1/4” at most. When the level gets high I take the floater out till I gets back to normal. Then put floater back in and the next day really high again. Am I using to many tablets? thanks

I have 2 air knobs 1 for each 1/2 of the tub that inject air thru the jets. My local spy store is telling me to up the pH high and then use pH drop. To drop both of them because they said the PH increaser will not raise the alkalinity as much as the pH, but they will drop the same together. Does that make any sense?

Ph decrease the same or Will acid work better? Also could I aerate using an air compressor? I don’t have a blower on my tub.

I’m new to well water. I just filled my hot tub and my ph level is good at 7.6 the problem is my TA is at 220 ppm. I’m using chlorine in the tub. How can I lower the TA with lowering the ph to much. thanks
