  1. I am on the first salt cartridge since installing the freshwater salt system, on our new Envoy. I also have the ozone system, and the Ag cartridge. Initially there was a sanitizer/chlorine reading on the test strip, but that has dropped off over time. The salt cartridge is at the two month point. I read on another forum, that with the ozone, silver cartridge, and salt system, you should see little to no purple on the test strip. The reading on the salt dial is 12-4 o'clock. I think I went heavy on the salt initially, at the high normal end of the salt test strip. But after two top offs, the dial stays in the 10-12 o'clock position. My question is: how do you tell when you need a new salt cartridge? Does the dial/test just say "Not OK"? And, what actually is the dial measuring? Thank you all for the information.
