  1. I got new sensors delivered a couple of days ago and just installed them today . Still the same error msg . Is it worth trying to reset the the control box using by flicking the A6 jumper to on todo a memory reset?. and if so is this best done with the powered turned on or off to the unit?. I cant find any information on this in any of the troubleshooting or setup manuals I have been able to find online. All I have been able to tell is to put the unit in test most the power is to be on.
  2. OK I closed the splice valves either side of the pump and heater unit. Disconnected the pump and both ends of the heater, no blockages in any of them and water came out clean as. I have had the circ pump start and run for about a minute after power off (error msg still on panel) checked suction and it's pulling beautifully and from what I can tell it's pumping out the wetend fine. I will hop in the spa tommorow and have someone come around and cut the power off for me so im in there when it restarts to feel what its like. The swim spa is actually pretty clean , the video makes it look worse than it is. The debris you see is just at the other end of the spa where the swim jets are and they all work fine ( can only get 2 going with the HTR TOO HOT error but when I do have the error dissapear they going fine). I've tried shorting jumper 29 to disable the Hester function but it still displays the same error. At this stage all I can guess is there is a fault with the control unit or panel?. I know one of them was replaced 12months ago before I moved in , trying to fine out what one and why now.
  3. I've reset the power multiple times , when the circ pump has run it sounds fine. For me to turn the spa on and off its at the other side of the house in the meter box. I'll have to get some one around to turn it off then back on for me so I can here what it sounds like when it starts up. By the time I get back to it the spa is already giving me HTR TOO HOT press any button to reset ( pressing any buttons doesn't work) and the circ pump is off. The only pumps I can turn on are too at the end of the spa as they run separately to the control panel and are for water feature's. I closed the splice valves either side of the circ pump and opened the pipe look for any debry but it was clean. I will try the heat tube when I get home this afternoon and see if there is any debree in there. The spring is still there it just has no tension on the flap I'm guessing the flat piece off spring may of sliped of one of the sides of the flap and is no longer proving tension. If I look at the other flap I can see more of the end of the spring sticking up against the side of the flap. When I had it running yesterday the suction from the filter housing with the broken flap was weak as but if I put my finger in there and help the flap back it increased alot. Is there a reason why the flap is there if it's not connected to the foot well of the spa and it's only intake is from the top via the filter? , my guess is they use a standard filter housing and just opted not to plum it into the foot well and additional pump?.

  6. Hi I recently moved into a house with a swimspa , having a HTR TOO HOT error on balboa TP control panel. I've powered off the spa pulled the filters out and it stopped it , put them back in and it did it again. Now powered off the spa and retaken the filters out and but the error remains. Upon inspection of one of the filter housing I have the same valve as in This Post and it appears to have lost all tension on the spring and is just flapping about with the water current. The other has quite a lot of tension. below is an extract from the posted linked above. "Pump 1 on low will draw water through the filter. Pimp 1 on high the flapper opens and draws the needed extra water from the foot well. No flapper it might not filter properly" I got the trouble shooting guide for the BP6013G3 and the treh sheet guide and from what I can tell my control unit is in setup 4. I originally thought it was connected to pump 1 but upon further inspection it is just connected to the circulation pump. If this is the case am I'm OK to remove the flappy valve as it sounds like it's not needed in my case?. when it flops down it appears to reduce the suction as it flaps at about a 45° . Edit: I was able to get the spa going for a few hours yesterday , while waiting for it to get dark so I could see what the likes looked like it must of stopped working again and went back to the HTR TOO HOT. Ive tried the following so far Removed and cleaned filters Removed filters entirely Made sure there is no air in the line Is there any thing else I can try before I try and pull out the circ pump and also the Heater Assembly from the BP Spa System. Cheers
