I have a new Nordic tub that uses Balboa controls. My old tub was heated by a remote swimming pool heater (dual use). So, the same with the new one. It will heat the spa in 20 minutes instead of two days. The tub pump is not powerful enough on high to push the water through the piping and still power the jets. The solution seems to be installation of a three way valve to bypass the heater circuit once the tub is heated. A T configuration solenoid valve (24v DC) with an air switch is what I have in mind. Anyone have experience doing this type of installation. Piping is all 2". I've disconnected the Balboa heater element.
