  1. Hello all . . . I have a quite old Bullfrog Model 451 hot tub. I have replaced the heater within the past year and the circuit board within the past few months due to other issues. I think the only thing that's still original (besides the tub itself) is the pump. It is a Flo-Master XP2, model #07327783-2, and after running on high for a time, the pump will stop and not restart. I'm pretty sure it's getting hot because after a while it will either start itself again or I can go out and hit the Jets button and it will start. I'm not sure if it is the pump itself is really getting too hot or perhaps there is a high limit switch that shuts the pump off if it gets too hot. Pump seems to run normally and has no unusual sounds when running and will run on low speed for long periods of time with no issues. I was having this issue before I changed the circuit board, I had replaced the board because it was intermittently sending power to the heater, got to the point where it wouldn't heat much at all. Is there a way to test and/or replace the high limit switch in the pump (if it exists) or am I down to replacing the pump itself? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
