  1. I did miss that. and not trying to make your task more difficult. but as a seasoned forum user, of many subjects, it's more frustrating to have multiple threads asking the same question than one perhaps stickied thread that has the solution(s). now, if someone was posting their problem was slightly different and/or they had tried the options in one thread and didn't work, that'd be a perfect reason for a 2nd thread on the subject... but, in this case the user suggested they had the exact issue mentioned... but they needed help, which to me suggested that they didn't actually read the thread or solutions... so a 2nd post would just give way to chances of missing the original thread. that's just my 2 cents anyway. you're a mod, so I'm sure you'll manage content as you see fit.
  2. Not sure how you got to the end of this thread without finding the solution, but please go back and re-read the first page, everything you need is detailed in those posts. Please no. This issue has been clearly identified and a few solutions posted. The thread may be old, but clearly we're still monitoring.
  3. Take the plastic housing in your hand, and lightly pull outwards as you are unscrewing.... that should help back the screw out.
  4. yes.. fill that, nothing comes out of there... and what's more, that's where most of us here have found leaks. If Air has escaped and water has gotten into the walls of your hot tub, that's the likely source. You can confirm this by inflating the tub and putting your hand over that hole, should feel air escaping. if you have water inside the walls (like I did), you'll have to empty it via the inflation port. inflate to max pressure, then decouple the air pump and lift tub so water pours out that port. then, let the tub settle to neutral inflation, fill that little hole with the waterproof putty, caulking, or whatever substance you're going to use... do a ring around the outside of that hole, so that when you put the plastic shrouding back over it it creates a seal, And you should be good. I let mine rest for 24 hours before attempting to inflate again. if it holds air at max inflation, you're good, if not attempt the seal again. good luck
  5. fill in this hole with caulking or that putty I linked above. then take off The plastic shroud on the upper piece, and fill in/caulk that hole too
  6. get some of this stuff Sugru Moldable Glue - Multi-Purpose Glue for Creative Fixing and Making - Red, Blue & Yellow 3-Pack https://a.co/d/d23GOeY then when you unscrew both plastic parts, stuff that into the holes such that when you put the plastic parts back on, it squeezes it and forms a bond. I did that and it seems to have fixed the leaks. do both top and bottom. good luck
  7. hmmm I though I had used the garden hose gaskets too, but maybe not. The ones I used were slightly smaller and outside diameter than the inside diameter of the joiners. I'm getting slow drops and air leaks into the system. guess I'll just re-asses. thanks much
  8. my stupid washers on the in-flow and out-flow tubes have disintegrated... Anyone know if there are replacement parts?
  9. So i plugged up both the top and the bottom "holes" with this stuff a friend suggested, moldable glue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089WHMVMZ https://www.outsideonline.com/outdoor-gear/tools/sugru-repair-review/ It worked really well!, and I've reinflated the spa (no water) to see if it holds air, so far so good. I forgot to take pictures of how i filled the hole, but I basically took the material, rolled it into a ball about the size of the aperture, flattened the ball into a "plug" and stuffed it in (with the screw sticking out so the crew hole didn't get blocked). I left a little bit of a flange so that when the plastic housing thing was installed back over it, there was stuff to squish and form a tight seal once the housing is tightened on top of it, you can see some of it squished out in the picture below. for the topmost hole, it was a little trickier because part of the housing is actually inserted into the hole, but there too, as long as you leave enough material to squish flat, it should maintain an air-tight seal. Ill report back when its cured, and fully tested, but i hope this is a permanent fix. Thanks for the help.
  10. So those white "hoses" are whats behind this fitting? did you put those white hoses back in the liner, or did you just plug up the vent?
  11. Im signing up, this exact problem happened to me as well. Will attempt the fixes and report back.
