I had a similar problem with my jets, they would make a humming noise but water wouldn’t run through them. I ordered a new capacitor after trying everything else, like turning a metal screw like which tends to rust and get stuck, but that wasn’t it. The capacitor is located on top of the motor it’s usually 2 screws that hold it. I swapped the wires and places the new one. It costs me a total of $17 for the new capacitor. That fixed my jet issue and now they run like new. Did you try to switch that before changing the whole motor?
