  1. Alright this is a common one. big locking ring holding that filter box between the shell. back of the locking ring jack up the filter box a little (pipes attached look flexible so shouldn’t need to cut and re join them, only need a small gap to fit a knife and a caulking gun nozzle ) so there is a gap between filter box and spa shell. clear all old silicon out from inside the spa re silicon and tighten down the ring. Let the glue dry before whipping excess much easier and tidier. that should solve your issue
  2. Reading through this doesn’t add up in my book and awfully confusing steps taken. The Guide you found online isn’t a reset it’s for programming for when updating software or loading software.. following this sheet wouldn’t solve the issue you presented at the top. a faulty temp sensor also wouldn’t throw a breaker. A faulty heating element would. my best guess is what someone else suggested a faulty thermal cut which is internal of the pump. Generally no way to bypass. Bench testing with no wet end sometimes won’t show an issue as there is no load on the pump. best way to have diagnosed the issue was having a multi meter attached to the low speed side of the pump and watching the voltage soon as pump stopped if voltage dropped away is a board or control issue , if pump stopped and voltage still present pump issue.. glad spa is working now though.
  3. Your going to need to provide a little more info, did you have the new board setup to the same spec as old one ? Dip switches - Programming - Jumpers etc… Photos of old and new board would also be helpful.
  4. Use a 2 part epoxy or similar on the back side and it should be fine… I don’t generally like poking around with glue on the inside shell
  5. It’s a bleed line. Bleeds the circulation pump when filling and also used to indicate flow for diagnostics too. Good when we get calls re low flow first thing we ask is there pressure at that little jet … if low or none remove filters does it improve … if yea. Clean filters. nothing to do with moving the water in the filter box, it moves regardless through the filter. I am amazed the dealer didn’t know this… that’s shocking. Clearing doesn’t know the product well.
  6. Yes a large dose. Ensure your not using calcium hypochlorite in your hot tub.
  7. Hi, there’s a number of reasons for price increases within HotSpring.. movement of parts , cost of parts and freight of components into USA to manufacture… us in NZ have also seen a huge Hike. the new Freshwayer system is much more user friendly and easy to use than the old Ace system. One reason is the new freshwater system has cartridges you change every 4 months… instead of a pricey salt cell. it’s crucial you follow a strict testing regime to ensure you don’t under or overdoes the pool. And you will have a happy experience with the freshwater salt system. also you will still will be required to shock the spa with chlorine every now and then to assist with the freshwater system.
  8. Hi, it could be high Phosphate levels… or high TDS… if you have the test strips do a test for this. Adjust PH first as this plays a big part in how efficient and effective chlorine is Also Do a test and check for combine chlorine and total chlorine it also may just need a super shock dose if it’s chewing through a lot of chlorine… also ensure filters are cleaned before doing the super shock etc…
  9. Hi, here is a link to our website for the user manual
  10. Not sure of your location re power etc.. but is it the correct voltage and hertz for your country ? use a multi meter and check if you have any power fluctuations
  11. Upload some photos of your control board @Kimberly Green theres a few things we can look at.
  12. What type of heater do you have ? Is the pressure switch running high voltage or low?
  13. Incorrect PH levels will not allow the chlorine to preform it’s duty… adjust ph correctly first if your still having to add chlorine in as much as you are do a phosphate test and or TDS… as high TDS or phosphate can wreak havoc on spa and pools as it can also eat chlorine or not have it do it’s job. if the above is ok it quite possibly just needs a super shock…
  14. Pressure switch is generally located on top of the steel heater tube on the Solana TX unless fitted with Silent Flo, Small square thing with two wires going to it . it could also be the high limit sensor. Posting a photo will help.
