  1. I am also getting the FLO code on my Dynasty ECCO spa. The past two years I've replace each of the pumps, so it figures now that there is a problem with the heater. I read the thread above from a couple years ago. What I'm not understanding is if I get good flow from pump 1 (the dual speed pump), and that appears to be the pump that feeds the heater, then why is there a FLO error? And, if I get good flow from pump 1 through the jets, why am I not getting any flow from the port in the tub where the warm water would come out normally?
  2. To follow up with you, I found three fuses behind a small panel below the control panel on the top of the spa. The middle fuse was blown. I replaced it and the motor for pump 2 started working - Yeah! Thanks for your help on this, and enjoy the rest of your summer.
  3. I have a multimeter, and sort of know how to use it, but don't understand what to look for from a troubleshooting standpoint. When I get home from work today I plan to take apart another section of the deck surrounding the hot tub and look for the circuit panel. I hope it is on the side under the control panel. I'll check first for any blown fuses - maybe I'll get lucky and that's all it is. It could be, since the old motor/pump shaft is seized and maybe it just blew a fuse when it seized. Would that be typical? Also, I'm from the west Chicago suburbs.
  4. Thanks for the reply. The pump/motor stopped working about a year ago was the original problem. I figured I'd better replace it before winter hits again and I'm not so lucky. When I turn on the power to the spa, there is an indicator that shows the pump is running, but it is not. I can cycle this indicator on and off, but the pump still doesn't run. I took a picture of the wiring on the original motor and duplicated it on the new motor. There are only three wires and four connection posts, so it isn't difficult to mix up. Regarding fuses, where would I look for them? This is an ECCO brand spa, which I believe is now owned by Destiny Spas. I don't have any other information on the spa unless there is a tag behind a sidewall panel, and since my spa is inset into a deck, I prefer to not have to take apart another side of the deck if it isn't necessary.
  5. I'm in the process of replacing the pump/motor, but before I hook the plumbing all back up I thought I should at least jog the motor to ensure it is working. I turned on the circuit breaker and pressed the button on the control panel for this pump/motor and there is nothing happening. The tub is essentially empty at this time, so I'm wondering if there needs to be a certain amount of water in it before the pump will turn on? Note that the other pump/motor both turned on.
  6. I have a Waterway pump/motor, model# PF-50-1N22C and part# 3712029-0T7JDY that hasn't been working since last summer. I feel fortunate to have made it through last winter running on just the other pump, but don't want to press my luck any further. When I search for the model#, I get results but they don't have the same part#, sometimes only differing by a few digits. If the model# matches but the part# doesn't, will the pump/motor fit and work, or is there some other spec I also need to look for?
