  1. Ref 2007 Dim1 DT19 Swim spa: Had to replace the board, 500.00 for a new one. Be aware prices are going up with the supply chain and inflation issues.
  2. Ref a 2007 Dim 1 DT 19 Swim spa combo: That is way to early to have a circ failing on a normal HT. Our circ's lasted around 5 years each before an r & r. So 3 Circ's on a 16 year for an old Dim1 Spa. So yeah a very important part of the system to maintain warm water. on your unit.
  3. Working on a 2007 Dim1 19 DT swim spa, we have a circ pump on the swim side only. But trust me you have keep an eye on them Those pesky circ pumps are working 24/7, they are a lot smaller than the larger pumps in these systems. The durability for the size is impressive. I like the "Is it working?" bubble explanation the best, after replacement or repair, you will need to test past the breakers and then to your GFCI if all is good you turn on your GFCI and it resets and holds. You will then hear the circ come on and the topside controller will indicate normal display of temp conditions vs the "Flow Error" message. The pump when working properly will start producing an in tub "bubble stream" coming out of the small outlet in the tub foot well. The bubble stream will arch up to the surface continuously unless the circ pump power source is interrupted. Check the heat signature on your curc pump by simply touching it. It should not be to hot to touch if so it could needing a rebuild (yeah you can do that) or a total R & R depending on what money you have left in this inflation period. Good hunting and hope you figure it out and have Joy and warm water....always
  4. Warm water is a joy...se se One option is in the back of your local hardware store. Find the roofing aisle and look for the panel roofing inventory. There are some corrugated metal, plastic, fiberglass, cut to size and can be fastened. Could be use as replacement siding situation. Got to keep the rodents out, as it's always a problem in most climates.
  5. We have a Dim1 DT 19 2007. The standard for input and output on these high speed pumps should be 2" PVC, could be 1 1/2" on some models. If you are so inclined, you could return it for the smaller dia wet end of your pump. Perhaps you could get some parts, PVC type like reducers or the flexible slip (glue able) a little extra pipe in case you can plumb the input or output differently to suit your situation. Use the Cristy's blue primer and glue, if possible place a gate valve in either run when ever possible. We used a 20V Porter Cable Sabre saw with small and large blades for cutting the pipe in place prior to forming the input and output lines. Dig out your foam as needed.
  6. We have a Dim1 19 DT 2007 model. The Spa side failed like this some time ago. You mentioned I have tried: disconnect light controller from board, disconnect ozone/uv, disconnects lights from lights controller. So your headed in the right direction on the TS path. Drop components and reset GFCI each time for starters to see where it "faulting" or which part is having issues. The Balboa pack is one the newer ones, easier to R & R heater elements vs indirect tee bone type by pass heater setups. Some of them have a "Relay Board" on the mainboard that fails and can be replace with a bit of knowledge & skill. Our problem was a bad relay on the main board. Replaced the board and was operational. Kept the old board for reuse as parts are getting more expensive.
  7. Flow switch? I thought there might be a safety device like a limit switch or cutoff if the circ gets hot before it overheats, guess not The little pump works 24/7 in the overall system. Different than the big jet pumps. Circ's have a flow switch in line (what is a "Paddle Post" type switch), note the flow direction indicator as the post will precede the paddle in that given direction, epoxy incapsulated with wired lead attached to main control board), located inside a clear or white 3/4 inch "Tee Fitting", can have a barb or treaded configuration for input and out put. pre heater and some post heater and circ pump, depending on your brand. I am working on a Dim1 19 Dual Temp circ pump R & R. Bubble patterns, if your getting some is important. If the units hot, it might be time for a replacement. Did you find voltage at the leads
  8. Working a 2007 Dim1 19 DT, spa side problem. Replacing a 15 year old gate valve and PVC Nut and o ring. Got slip type parts from various vendors. Primed and glued with "Cristy's" blue. Chasing a "Flow Error" with this unit. Good info and excellent knowledge from the forum experts and owner for sure. Thank you all
