  1. Hi, I need to purchase a new heating element for my Sundance Portofino Caprio ST 2002. The element started leaking. The local dealer won't order a part until they come out and diagnose for $100.00. Then they will order the part and give me a price for installing it (and will probably recommend other things). Does anyone know where I can order a heating element for this hot tub? Thank you in advance for any help. Dawn
  2. Thank you for your help. Our last option is to see if our Polaris pool sweep (no longer using) uses 220 and we can hook it to that.
  3. Here are the pictures of the circuit board. It's looking like it's at least now only 220v.?
  4. Hi I picked up a used Sundance Caprio hot tub that can be connected via 110 or 220. the previous owner had it connected with 220, but said (confirmed with manuals) that it can be connected with 110. Brought it home (with much expense) and when we connected it we found that the circulation pump was replaced with one that uses only 220v. Ok, purchased another circulation pump, got a service man out to help install the new pump (more $$). After replacing the circulation pump, he looks at the label of the jet pump. Yes, that too says 230v. Do I need to spend another $400+ on another pump or can I run it on 110? Right now the jets don't turn on, but I'm not sure it it's because it is still doing the initial heating or if it is just not going to work at all. We are not in a position to wire to 220 and won't be for at least 6 months while we wait for PG&E. Follow up question asking for opinions: It is a 16 year old hot tub, but was purchased with the understanding that everything was working on it. I made it clear that it was to be plugged into 110 and not 220. After getting the hot tub home, the seller remembered that a part or two were replaced and might not work with 110. I would like to ask him for a refund of at least half or more of the "extra" unexpected costs from the price of the hot tub. Am I being unreasonable and I should just expect problems from used hot tubs? The paper signed stated everything was in working condition, but I did not put in writing that it would still work with 110. Opinions welcome. Thank you, Dawn
