So, trying to get the chemistry right my hubby put baking soda in our hot tub. Several days later. We had an entire film over the shell. We could scrap if off with our fingernails. So we assumed it wa the baking soda residue. We drained and cleaned, with vinegar and soft brushes and the refilled. Thought everything was ok. 2 weeks later, after we hadn’t used the tub, in a hit … same residue. HELP!!
