  1. i swear this never came up in any of my searches...wierd. i'll check them out. thanks!
  2. I can't find an installation manual to install this thing anywhere online. I figure I can just connect it--electrically speaking--to where an ozone system would connect if I had one on my control board (0.5A, 120V). The ballast box on the Clear Ray sytem says "Input: 120Vac, 0.33A". Plumbing wise, I'm going to splice into the tubing coming out of the heater unit. Sound reasonable?
  3. just bought a new heater to replace my old "trombone" style no-fault heater for my 2004 tiger river bengal M. the limit sensor fits in the smaller hole fine but the control sensor from the old heater seems like its slightly too big in diameter and/or the threading is slightly different? anyone know what my options are and/or what's going on? the new heater is the 6kW updated titanium no-fault model (hot springs 76227) with a built in pressure switch.
  4. yeah--no error notifications from what i can tell, topside. it seems to rise to ~90 degrees fairly quickly but then stops there. i hope its not the circuit board, as i just replaced that since there were some visibly melted components on the raised piece in the top, left corner. visibly, the heater relay board is fine (i know that's not necessarily the way to tell 100%).
  5. 2004 (i believe? SN M1F1554) tiger river bengal m well--like a knucklehead, i drained my tub without cutting the power. after an burning electrical smell and a new control panel (retained heater relay board--i think its ok) i filled it up and got it filled up again. for some reason, the water temp seems to be holding at 91 degrees (set to 101). any ideas on why its not heating up to 101? we're at about the 14 hour mark.
