  1. That's encouraging to hear! The shaft on mine looks rusted. I wonder if that's no good or if it can still be used...
  2. I've turned the circuit breaker off because the water was just going everywhere. Here is the old label as well as the label and model number for a new pump that I had already bought. It's not identical, but I hope it can be used as a replacement. I'd love to learn how to do this myself, but I'm due to have a baby next Tuesday and juggling 5,000 things in preparation. Do I have to drain the tub to disconnect the pump?
  3. I recently bought a house with a portable spa and naturally a few months into homeownership, the spa is leaking. I tried calling around but everyone says these things are a DIY project. I have pretty much ZERO idea what to do here. Please, any help would be appreciated. Here's what I'm seeing: 0220221419(1).mp4
  4. Hi spa masters! I just bought a house that came with a spa. Naturally, within the first month, it's started leaking. First I noticed water leaking only when I put the jets on their highest setting, but now it leaks continually. I even turned off the tub completely and it still leaks. I took off the panels and can see water spraying out of the pump when on (Gecko AquaFlo XP2). It comes out right along that ridge where it looks like the previous owner tried to glue or seal that break. Is this fixable or should I just get a new pump? Also, what is that clear tube? Should that still be connected to a new pump? What does it do? Should there be water in it? I'm a total noob here, so I apologize for my ignorance. I'm just now diving into all the youtube videos that explain pump repair. I tried to call around for help, but nobody will work on above ground tubs. I was told that it's a "DIY project, good luck." Thank you, guys!
