  1. Thanks much, sorry for the late reply (family issues), I'll get photos! Rich
  2. 2003 Utopia. The circ pump is fairly new, the new black model which replaced the blue one. I recently replaced the trombone style heater and the 30 amp and 20 amp GFCI breakers (as the 30 amp failed mechanically). There is water in the circ pump and when I loosen the connection to the outflow hose plenty of water will start to leak. The pump is quietly vibrating. But no bubbles from the jet from the circ pump. Both jet pumps are working as is the "clean button". However the TEMP light keeps flashing and the spa won't heat. Have tried running it with no filter, but no change. Could there be an air lock between the circ pump and jet? If so, what's the fix? I'm good with a multimeter. Can someone help save me from the fickle hot tub gods? Thanks, Rich
  3. A jet I want to replace ins stuck in place in my 203 Caldera Geneva Utopia hot tub, see photo. Can't turn the jet (about 4" across) counter-clockwise (or clockwise) even using an oil filter wrench. Any suggestions (short of blasting!) will be greatly appreciated. Rich
  4. I just got the plumbing diagram from Caldera, who were actually nicely responsive! Thanks to all for your help, Rich
  5. Thanks, you guys are great. Serial# GEB2E1375 Mfr date 06/13/03
  6. Thank you -- up until now, all my real plumbing work was done on house plumbing or sanitary sewer lines (hot tub work definitely more pleasant than the latter!)
  7. Thank you much, RD. I will get a new jet - is that something that must come only from Caldera or something I can get online from different sources?
  8. Will look at this closer tonight, yeah I guess it is a jet-- hopefully if its a part I can replace i can chip the Water Weld off if its still leaking! Thanks
  9. Thanks for your reply. This leak is about 6 inches from the spa bottom, not at a jet into the tub. I tried to contact Caldera via email and phone, to request a plumbing diagram, but i can't even get an email or a call to get through.
  10. Hi, new member here. Couple years ago, I had a leak at this location at the "business end" of the spa, behind one of the main pumps. Patched it with WaterWeld (which looks like a broken arm cast in the photo) and it worked a while but had it leaking about a drip per second this season, even with pumps off (no pressure in pipe). Adding additional WaterWeld to the dripping pipe didn't stop leak, perhaps I should have drained the spa first. So, perhaps rashly, I then drained the spa and applied three coats of FlexSeal (not shown in photo) 24 hours apart, per instruction. Leak came right thru the Flexseal at one tiny spot at the bottom of the "elbow" at the same rate. Drained tub again and applied two more coats of Flex Seal--will fill tub & check tomorrow. Most likely it'll still leak. If it still leaks, should I try a tape product? If so what brand (with adhesive or just the stretchy kind)? And should I try to strip off the FlexSeal-- assuming I can? Many thanks, Rich
