  1. Ok. So I suspect it was a water flow issue and the circ pump was overheating. I pulled the filters off and reinstalled them. Got a lot of bubbles when I pulled off the caps. Lo and behold, the breaker hasn’t tripped since! Of course now I’m sitting in it and the jet pump makes some very sad noises and cuts out 😬

  3. We bought a house with a 1991 Highlife spa a couple of years ago. I cleaned it up and got it running with a new heater, but then summer and a pregnancy put it out of commission for about a year and a half. Just yesterday we filled it up and turn it on and today it keeps tripping the gfci breaker after about 10 minutes of working. I’m wondering if anyone has any info on what could be the problem. The jet pump and circulation pump seem to work fine and I haven’t had to trip the thermostat buttons. thanks for any assistance!
