Got it. So the conversion is 120 only satisfies the heater not the pump? So its best to just run 220 to the location rather than trying to downgrade the pump?

I understand what your saying but.... The green wire u see with tape merges the white and red ac since theres no other hot wire coming in. Thats why the pump gets power whethwr its plugged in the white ac or red ac area.

Ill check the voltage, but why does it work when the union is unscrewed?

The pump is still only gets full pressure when union is lossened. If i loosen it the close after few seconds its like it pushes then stops pushes then stops ( water put jets)

The pump doesnt work unless i loosen the union. When i closed it the pump hums but no jet action

Does j3 need to be moved from red ac to white ac. Its in j35 spot red ac.

I did that. Motor hums and i hear clicking noises nothing coming out jets really. It cycles and stops then reatarts. Control board says pr. Now when i loosen union like before the pump iant working like before

U understand totally. Im going to remove the motor and see if something is clogged. The inside is clean i just cleaned and filled. I dont think its a power issue if it works with union cracked? Ive tried filter and no filter. Filter is new cartridge style. The gate slicer valves work. I converted it to 110.

I circled the union i open. When slightly loose pump works. Closed tight does not. Could it being moved have jarred sone debris inside somehow? I have video from other owner of ut working

The pump double clicks when turned on. Then stops trying i guess as safety to stop burn out. If i open union btwn heater and pump slightly it starts to work. As soon as i close it the pump stops. The previous owner sent me videos of it working.

I have a used hottub i bought. Previous owner said it worked. I had it delivered. Filled it with water. Control panel comes on. Goes into prime mode. Pump doesnt work unless union between heater and pump is lossened. Pump works fine but leaks onece cycle is off. If union closed while pump working pumps stops. Seems like air lock issue or sonething else. Balboa system. Hottub by shoreline. Pic attached.
