Sorry to dig up an old post but I'm new and curious about using bleach instead of dichlor chlorine granuals... how much bleach would I need for my old 1998 390 gallon (basically 400) sundan altamar to maintain 2 to 4ppm FC and how much should I toss in per bather after we use the tub.. I also use a frog mineral stick..(that's another question my filter sits horizontal in the skimmer and the frog directions say to place inside the filter but not with a pump that's 2.5hp which mine is so should i just place it in the skimmer area or is it fine inside the filter)

So finally got all my stuff to convert to bromine.. should I wait for my chlorine levels to drop below 1 to start... also once I add the sodium bromide for the reserve bank and then shock and add tablets to my sundance bromineator what levels do the bromine need to come down to before its safe for my family to use the tub? And how long should that take to come down.. thanks in advance Edit: how many tablets should I start with if my tub is about 390 to 400 gallons? 4?

Hello just bought a perfect second hand tub... I have the manual but it doesn't list hoe many gallons it is anywhere... it's a 1998 sundance 850 altamar..does anyone know the size? I'm thinking 360 to 400 thanks in advance! 20210222_204339.heic

Hello new member here I've been reading a bit and I want to convert my tub from chlorine to bromine (been running 3 weeks with granular chlorine) I've been reading everything about the 3 step Bromine process and have all supplies ordered but my question is can I start the process without draining? I'd hate to waste 3 week old water.. thanks in advance.
