The M drive is the top control unit on the hot tum

Hello. My M Drive has gone out and has been replaced 3 times. What is up with these upper controls? Has anyone had this issue? And has anyone else tried mounting it on the side of the tub? A ask because it seams to be the humidity that is killing these things. Thanks. Ed
