    Hello, Can ribbed heater gasket be used on pump unions ? I read somewhere that it will work as good if not better than oring? can anyone confirm this thank you

    Hello, I’m replacing my pumps and I have ordered some orings but it appears they are a tad to small and they come out from the lip instead of sitting flat. Just have some trouble getting them to stay in the fitting grove fittings are BWG ( Balboa ) did anyone have problem like this, do they use non standard orings or something thank you

    Hello, I have 2015 Bullfrog A7L looking to replace my pumps. Currently I have 2”x2” Gecko XP2, 56 Frame - labeled 2.5 HP, 2 speed 11.4/3.6 AMP and 12/4.4 AMP what is weird, that I keep finding similar pumps AMP wise, but they all say that they are 4HP is it okay to replace the 11.4/3.6 AMP with second 12/4.4 AMP that says 4HP instead of 2.5 ?

    Thank you I will do that! any suggestion on replacement pump? I read that LX pumps are better and cheaper ? Should I just find LX 2.5HP with 2”/2” and that should be direct fit ? thank you

    Hello, I know that we have couple guys here that are experts. My house came with A7 2015 bullfrog I peaked inside and it seems to have two pumps, one pump has some sweating on the shaft ( bad seal ) the other pump looks pristine. But it looks like one pump was replaced Both are XP2 2.5 HP One is made in Mexico US Motors and other Century made in China. the leaking one is US Motors I will rebuild the US Motors one, and keep as spare … what new pump should I buy as direct replacement ? Should I replace heating element ? Even when it looks visually great and resistance is at 15

    @RDspaguy Based on what you are saying, Ozone depletes chlorine every day and it has to be topped up daily ? - that would make sense why my readings are always low

    Hi Guys, Just purchased a brand new hot tub, and located about 3-4 jets that are dripping ... I'm guessing that there could be more, but one side of the tub is against fence so I can't take panel off... How common it is ... are jets glued in with silicone or they should be using gasket ? Thank you
