  1. Thanks, but I have the LXi vs the LX, and this document seems aimed at the LX. I have the manual for the LXi otherwise which has a fair amount of guidance - just nothing that seems relevant to the symptom I’m having.

Shorter version: My pool guy recently (in the last couple of months) replaced the air pressure switch, respective hoses as noted, as well as a couple of temperature sensors (for an unrelated error I was getting - not sure of the exact part ID's, but right outside the heater). I replaced the igniter, and the flame sensor rod after the testing noted above within the last month. Since igniter replacement, unit consistently lights up and comes up to temperature on the first attempt.   3. Greetings pool gurus, Hoping to get some clues as to what's up with an older Jandy LXi heater that's not working consistently. Been in my house for about 5 years - pool and equipment came with the house, and was clearly a few years old at that point. Heater outdoors, but in a covered area so it's not getting rained on. Use the heater for integrated hot tub. Heater has been flaky the entire time we've been here - sometimes it would light, sometimes it wouldn't, sometimes it would come on once, but then not re-activate once the water temperature dropped - just flaky all around.
