  1. I have a Saratoga Spa, and would like to rebuild a few leaky valves. Can I buy a generic o-ring kit from say harbor freight? If so are they typically SAE or METRIC o rings?
  2. As I expected. If used daily and kept around 100 degrees F. Could that loss be around .5-1" daily or is that more likely suggestive of a leak?
  3. Now typically I would use the forum search function first for a question like this, but for some reason, that feature on this forum refuses to load on my phone. Anyhoo, do spas typically consume water at any rate over a period of time?. Or, should the water level stay consistent at all times?
  4. I'm curious about how to set the amount of hours the spa will heat for once in economy mode. I can get it into economy without issue, but I don't see a way to program for number of hours. The owners manual says it's possible to program for between 2-10 hours yet doesn't mention how. It's a Saratoga Canfield model.
  5. UPDATE: all the lights worked after installing it in its permanent location! Must have been circuit protection shutting them off, and thank God for it! Lesson learned, if you want to test LEDs, use a variable power supply.
  6. It's a Saratoga Canfield model. Again I powered the led circuit independently of the main board. No stereo. Am I fucked?
  7. Yeah I bypassed the board when I tested them, but I'm moving the spa to it's final resting place tomorrow, and then I'll fill it and see if they are toast after the electric is hooked up. Once it's in position, I won't be able to access the side panels anymore, so it is what it is.
  8. I disconnected the harness from the board and gave it 12vdc. There's no water in the tub so I didn't want to power the entire panel. Is there any circuit protection in the PCBs that would cause them to go out?
  9. So I put a new harness in the tub for LED lights because mice chewed it all up. I wanted to test the lights without water in the tub so I gave 12v from a car battery to the lights, they lit, and at some point while checking each light, they stopped lighting. Did I just blow EVERY LED, or is there some sort of circuit protection built into the boards in the harnesses???
