  1. Bingo! A blown Fuse. Now replaced and she fired up straight away. Must have blown when the original Circulating pump gave up. Just want to say thanks to everyone for the assistance, this is a fantastic forum. I cannot thank you enough. Stay Safe! John
  2. Well Funny enough, I went out again and tested the Voltage for the pump and discovered what maybe the fuse. I haven't checked the fuse yet, but I took another photo. When I put my meter across the terminals and said it was 240Volts, that was to the other side of the fuse. If i test the black wire to the actual pump I get 0 Volts. We could be onto something here. I reckon it could be a fuse that blew when the original pump went. John
  3. I just been and fetched the original pump which i changed out when the problem first began. See attached the original pump says 240v ?
  4. That got my heart rate up, just checked its the correct voltage. John
  5. HI, Thanks for the response. I tried disconnecting the Ozonator and it made no difference. I have tried removing the filters and powering up again still no difference. There is absolutely no response from the circulating pump which is brand new, no humming and no bubbles rising in the tub. When I test the power from the board to the pump it measures 240V. Surely the pump should be turning if it has voltage to it? !! I'm wondering what I can do next? Regards John
  6. HI, Hoping someone can help Please? I have a 2008 Hot Springs Jetsetter which was working fine until about a month ago when I went out for a dip, turned it on and stepped into cold water. I noticed that the Power light (red) and the Ready light (green) were flashing. The circulation pump was not working and I remember listening to it a few weeks before and noting that it sounded a bit gravely or noisier than it probably should be. So I purchased a new circulation pump, drained the Tub and fitted it along with two new filters and a new ions cartridge. Filled up again and still the same problem. I can hear a couple of clicks then the Power and Ready lights start flashing again. I decided to purchase a replacement Hi limit thermistor and a replacement thermostat for the heater which I have now fitted, to no avail I noted looking at the circuit board the: (LIM OK) led was on Green (HTR ON) - Not lit (CONTROL UNPLUGGED) - Not Lit I couldn’t disconnect the heater from the circuit board as I am not sure how the terminals work, to release the wires, but I put my meter across the terminals with the power off. I got a resistance between the two terminals of 36 ohms, and noted there was a full short between them ie. Not showing open circuit. Can anyone advise me of the next step please or do I go ahead and purchase a new heater which is even more expense when not knowing if it is going to solve the problem. Everything else works fine as I had the main motor changed out last year when the 'wet end' bearing seals failed and jiggered the old motor. And how do I release the heater wires from the two grey terminals on the circuit board? I have been in lock down for the last 12 weeks due to Covid 19 an underlying health problem and the hot tub would have been a relaxing retreat. Thanks in anticipation. Stay Safe! John
