Hi all I wonder if someone can help before I loose the plot! Back story: We had a SpaCrest Duke SE for years...no real issues with it apart form parts going occasionally. Still going strong in my neighbours garden 10 years later! 3 years ago we 'upgraded' to a Hydropool model. In the three years we've had various bits need replacing including the circulation pump. However the biggest problem is the water maintaince - theres constantly one problem of another despite regular correct dosing (and not changing habits of 15 + years). Last year before the circulation pump was fixed firstly got calcium build up everywhere (sorted by massive amounts of ph-). Since then we have periodically had a build up of disgusting green sticky slime. It had a brand new filter just a week or so ago and I'm currently shocking it with a tablet and chlorine. Any advice would be gratefully received!
