  1. Be sure to fill through the filter pipe.
  2. No problem, happy to help. I wish I could look at it, I am curious now. I don't suppose you live near southern Missouri?
  3. Humble? I don't want to get your thread sidetracked, but I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND tablets of any kind in a spa. In my humble opinion.
  4. Did you happen to test the sensors? I am curious to know.
  5. I think it a good idea given all the issues. If you wouldn't mind, for informational purposes, could you unplug the topside control and turn it on? See if it comes on after a minute. Tomorrow I will make a call to a buddy of mine also in the business and get his thoughts. Maybe he has run into this before.
  6. Dashes should only show when it is uncertain of the temperature. It isn't really an error, it's like it's loading. This can happen sometimes if it is in sleep mode and between filter cycles, as it needs the pump on to test every few hours IIRC, but it should go away shortly after you turn on the pump and should not keep you from turning on the pump. It acts like a Sundance watchdog, and I keep having to remind myself it is a balboa.
  7. Yeah, I heard. I wish he would have tested them as suggested before ordering new. At least he can return them. To the OP: How is it coming? Did anything from the other thread help you out?
  8. I seriously doubt you ruined the sensors, they simply did not solve your issue. In 25 years, I have never ruined a sensor by plugging it in. It is curious that it ran for ten minutes. Was the display normal? Did the temp reading go up? Was it in standard mode? Reset the breaker and see if it works again. Leave it off for 30 seconds or so. While the old sensors are out, take a resistance (ohm) reading on each of them. They should be fairly close, within a few hundred ohms. If so, they are good. Test the new ones before returning so you can feel better about returning them.
  9. Can you post a pic of the leak? Your description is a bit vague. Is it leaking where the tubing connects?
  10. Did you review the thread from Canadaguy? We just went through this issue with someone else. You might find something useful in there. Check it out and post any questions you might have.
  11. Heater light is on? Are there bubbles from the vent now? Is it heating, or still the same?
  12. If you think it is the spaside, unplug that from the board and see what it does. While the control is open, look around for moisture, corrosion, or anything out of place on the circuit board. Make sure power is off while you are doing this. Safety first.
  13. What, you didn't want to do it again, Canadaguy? I admit, I sighed audibly before typing my response.
  14. Try removing filters and reset breaker.
  15. 1991 coleman may not be digital. Hence the control pic request. I need to know what it is.
  16. Yes, you will hear stuff rattle around in there. If it hums but does not move water you need a new circulation pump.
  17. Did you check the breakers? What is your temperature set at?
  18. What exactly does it do? On and off for 10 seconds is a bit unclear. If it just started with the new motor, I would say it is a wiring issue or a bad motor. What brand and year of spa? What motor did you get?
  19. Right, nothing works without the 30 amp breaker. In the time between resetting the breakers and the light starting to blink, does the circulation pump run, does it have power? I am trying to find out if it is your pump or sensors. I can only do so much from here.
  20. Reset both breakers. Does the circulation pump come on? Do you have voltage to the circulation pump?
