  1. Yes you are correct I bought this hot tub in February 2020 and it is a 2019 model the last year of the baffin before it was discontinued.
  2. My names josh. I have a 2019 arctic spa hot tub it has a gecko in.k300 control panel. I have 2 questions! Question 1: When I try to put my spa into econony mode by holding the lights button for 5 seconds, the option is not there. It goes straight from the filter settings to temperature unit with no option to set economy mode. How do I fix this? Question 2: As well, while trying to figure out why I didn't have economy mode, I held the lights button down for about 15 seconds thinking maybe there was a way to reset it so it would show economy mode. I dont know what this did. Did I damage anything? Suddenly the display started flashing random messages. I pressed the lights button once more and all the pumps turned on then the heat display started flashing and stopped displaying the temperature instead just showing 3 dashes. I do not know what I did. I ran and turned the breaker off to the hot tub. When I turned it on again the heat display was still flashing 3 lines. After a few minutes it has a temperature shown again. I am just worried I might have changed a setting I shouldn't have. Thanks, Josh.
  3. I believe I do have an economy mode. Perhaps during winter I will do as you say and decrease the amount of filtering, and turn on the economy mode. The jets that are powered by pump one can be controlled with a bear paw shaped dial, but I don't think its an air control it just turns the power of the jets up or down. Thank you for your advice I will put it to practice. At $80 a month electricity I will do anything I can to bring that number down.
  4. I run the filters 4 times a day for 2 hours per cycle, so 8 hours per day. I'm not sure if my tub has air injection. It does have a dial that determines the power of the jets from pump 1. Would this be air injection? I am not spending any more time at home than usual. Thanks for your reply!
  5. I have an 8 person arctic spa and I live in alberta. I use my hot tub 3 to 4 times a week for about 45 minutes to an hour each time. I keep it at 102 degrees. I was told it would raise my electric bill by about 30 a month during winter, but I have seen it raise my electric bill by closer to 80 per month. I am trying to figure out if this is normal. Thank you for any help.
  6. Just wondering if anyone else ownes an arctic spa baffin 45. I cant find any thing about them online anywhere. Just wanted to compare experiences with someone who owns the same tub to see if they have run into the same problems as me. Namely, the jets powered by pump 1 being very under powered. Pump 1 shutting down occasionally. And filter bypass valve breaking. Thanks, Josh.
  7. Hey just wondering if you bought the Baffin? I just got one about a month ago. Mostly I like the tub. Only concern is that the jets powered by pump 1 are underpowered compared to the jets powered by pump 2. Also the filter bypass valve broke after only a few days and a few jets have broken.
