I need help please. I’m only 3 months into owning my first tub and I’m so frustrated. The local business that sold me the tub says this is just lotion, body oils etc building up seen in the photos I’ve included. After the first month and a half we started showering prior to tub use in case that was the problem. This problem seems to get worse right after my Sunday routine of adding 1 oz. Protect Plus and Shock. The tub really starts to foam up after the use at which point I’ll add the Spa Defoamer. All of the creamy colored residual stuff is then present all over my tub. Additionally, each month end I’m replacing the filters, cleaning the catch and topping off the tub. Is this really from lotion, oils etc? How do I prevent this? Am I using the wrong chemicals poor routines that? Please sure your wisdom with this very very frustrated new tub owner. I’ve included pictures of the issue and what chemicals I have available to use.
