I have a 375 gallon hot tub. My iron is so high that I can't raise the ph. American sales said to turn off the breaker, add muriatic acid in the center let it sit for 4 hours before running a clean cycle. I am not able to completely remove the lid by myself. Can I take it partially off and the lid still be ok? I have well water and I have used so much of the metal b gone and it isn't working. Thank you
