I’m roughly in the same boat can’t get rid/lower the combined chlorine. I haven’t come across any helpful answers as I’ve research hopefully someone has some ideas.

I just got a 2nd hand caldera Kauai I have purged the spa 3 times all with ahhsome and once with ahhsome and vinegar on 60 hr soak. just did a fresh fill 2 days ago my combined chlorine seems to be high cal: 120 ta: 80 ph:7.4 currently aerating fc: 2 cc: 3 spa is 230 gal. chlorine demand seems to be 100% over 24hrs 10am this morning fc 1.5 cc 2.5 2pm fc:0 cc:1.5 left cover off in sun the whole time i added 1 tsp of Dichlor at bc Fc was 0. now it’s 5:30 and we are ate current readings at the top. any guidance would be helpful. Just a side note. ph does drift up. Doesn’t haven’t ozonator. Thank you jack

So I have a caldera kauai from late 2015 and Just having this issue as well. I just used ahh some and 3 gallons of 6% vinegar on a 60 hour soak then drained the tub. flushed the lines with my power washer and still had a lot of white flakes comes out. Did it until I didn’t see see many coming out and drained and dried the Remaining. Filled it back up had some white flakes in the tub. Skimmed what I could then installed a old filter that I had cleaned. Looks like that took care of what was floating in the tub. I think I’ll probably have to do the process Again. Any other recommendations?
