  1. Update: I ordered a new cell, installed it -- same issues. I guess this means it's the power pak -- and I therefore need a whole new SWG! Cheers, -Chris
  2. Hi all, I've been reading this forum for a while but this is my first time posting, Seems my Zodiac Aquapure EI / 35 SWG (Jandy) isn't producing any chlorine, and I am at a loss. I'm not sure it has been working at all this season... First, the pak started giving the "no flow" error, despite there being full flow. If I reset the box by holding all three console buttons down for ~35 seconds, it came back on and "no flow" went away on its own for a couple hours. But, I took the cell apart, it did have some calcium scale so I soaked it for 15 mins with acid, reattached it and the flow problem persisted for a bit but now no longer appears (as often). Now the pak is running but even run for half the day at 4/4 (superchlorinate) I'm showing almost zero chlorine upon test and the pool is becoming a little green. Pak is showing low temp / low salt, although neither is the case: pool temp is at ~26C /80F (due to ambient 40 degree heat here), and salt level is about ~4000. Pak is showing 7200 hours of elapsed time. Resetting the "cell time" seemingly has no impact. Ideas: 1. If you turn this unit off and then hold output, you can cycle between "controller types" -- it has been set correctly at Zodiac L/M (?) per the manual for a couple days so I don't think that's it (see page 15 of manual: https://www.jandy.ca/-/media/zodiac/global/downloads/aquapure-ei-ca/h0368100.pdf). There's two other options tho, Jandy K (?) and EOS/PENTAIR (?) so perhaps another setting? There's a sticker on the cell that says APURE35 so I presume this is correct. Admittedly this was set incorrectly about a week ago as I had toggled it while fiddling with the pak. I read something by Pool Clown in another thread about disconnecting wires, powering on to boot, powering off, and then reconnecting with the Zodiac L/M setting (proper communication between pak and cell) so we'll see if that helps. 2. Blue-wired tri-sensor gone on cell? (since all three things sensed have been wrong? Also accounts for "no flow"?) Looks like a fixed sensor, so this would mean buying a new cell. 3. I had read in this forum that some Zodiac/Jandy SGW require ~4500 salt level (manual says 4-4500 is normal). I've run below 4000 without issue last season so don't think this is it, but I could try raising the salt level? (Do they require more salt as they get old?) 4. read about reset buttons inside the paks in this forum. Such a button inside this model? (how do you open the thing, no screws on exterior?) 5. Something else? Thanks for helps, -Chris
