dave,i just un plugged both ribbon cables to the remote unit,it did not help,i did not un hook the volotage wires to the remote unit, but I would assume that would not matter, correct???,not sure what to try next,if you were a betting man would you think pad or board would be bad ,thanks

    OPTIMA 880 CONTROL PAD

thanks dave ,there is an auxilaty pad wich controls lites and water fall, that seems to work fine, would you think the transformer would have anything to do with the control pad, like I say it is lit,the change filter icon is on and when the heat is on the heat icon is also on,i see the transformer does send something to the pad itself, but it is lit so im assuming the voltage to the pad is correct???,is it possible a flow sensor could be the culprit(just thinking out of the box) thanks for your input
  4. my sundance optima has a problem with the control pad,it is lit,it does not function though, the tub is still heating ,the heat icon is on ,it seems to be holding temp but I cannot run any controls and there is no display, any ideas where to start thanks in advance
