Thanks. The trichlor I have is an HTH product, which includes a borate. Still, I just had to add some increase pH to bring it up some.

Also, thoughts on the use of trichlor?

I just "inherited" a used hot tub (Hot Springs) on buying my house. Its an older model, but hardly used. I didnt get the instructions with it, so I dont know the water capacity of the tub. Its about 6'×6' and has 4 seats in the corners, benches between. Any guesses on capacity?
