  1. It’s possible you have two things going on. First: orthophosphates which are food for algae, defertilize you water with Orenda PR10000. Bump up your chlorine as you kill algae at it will be releasing stored up phosphates. Second: organic matter in your pool needs to be addressed as well. Organic wastes come from the environment and from swimmers. Using CV600 enzymes will digest the organics and gas them off removing it from your water. Follow manufacturers instructions on the bottles and your water will sparkle as never before. Down load the free Orenda App to your smart phone to help you with water chemistry and adding chemicals.
  2. I would avoid any sequester that contains phosphates so please read the labels, sometimes they don’t list it though. A best bet would be to use SC1000 from Orenda, it is safe to swim in and carries NSF certification and contains NO phosphates. It will also help keep the blades of your salt generator from scaling up. Down load and use the free Orenda App to help keep your pool water in great shape and extend the life of your pool surface and equipment.
  3. Down load to your smart phone the Orenda App. When you open the app enter the gallons upper right and toggle left and right your current levels on the left side under “current levels”. On the right side enter your desired levels. Look at the bottom and you will see red or green and a number. The goal is to get as close to 0.0 as possible. Click on get dose and the next page shows you to the ounce what to add. Always premix the chemicals in a bucket, add chemicals to water in the bucket and add around the perimeter of the pool.
  4. To make it easier and understandable go to your App Store and download the free Orenda App. When you open the App you have the Langlier saturation index. Enter the gallonage top right, test or have your fill water tested and add the readings into the left column by toggling left or right. Under desired levels on the right enter desired levels. Look at the bottom and you see either red or green numbers. The goal is to get to as close to 0.0 as possible. Press get dosage and the next page tells you exactly to the ounce what to add to your new fresh pool water. It’s free to use and very simple.
