  1. Well here's how it currently looks! Making good progress, I had to remove and strip the Motor as the impellor had a crack that was slowly leaking water. The jacuzzi body only seems to have support on the 4 corners, leaving the insides open to movement and is preventing the cracks from healing. So tomorrow morning I'm sticking lengths of wood underneath them and sealing it with more expanding foam. After that, I'll run over the jets with a heatgun to put them back to black, rub down the jacuzzi body, prime and spray, nearly done!
  2. Hello! I've acquired a 2005 Mountain Spas Nordic Jacuzzi, it's sitting in the garden and in need of some major TLC. So far I've rubbed down the exterior wood and partially stained it, I'll follow up with varnish. There's old crack damage where the display unit is which I'll repair with new resin, then I'll rub down the entire fibreglass section and respray. This leads me to the jets... They're 3" dual spinners and I can't get them off for the life of me. I've tried turning them counter clockwise, they just freely spin. I've used pliers to remove the spinners and aren't any the wiser. Can I only replace the inserts? Ideally I'd like to remove them and repaint. Can anyone help? For those interested, my next steps are to replace the bulb with an LED one, remove and refurbish the motor and finally to replace the display unit with a new let one. The pump and heater is actually working fine - bonus. Thanks, Dean.
