  1. In my search for a hot tub for my rental property in mountains of NC, I have noticed that the new Jacuzzi models are using LX pumps which is a brand made in China. I like what Jacuzzi offers in the j-210 and j-245 but the Chinese pumps turn me off. Should I just decide on Caldera Vanto, Hot Springs Rhythm, Marquis, or Nordic?
  2. NDakota, I think you may have nailed it. I am going to try your fix the next time I drain tub as I just filled it. I will definitely have to cut away some of the frame to gain access to manifold. In the meantime I am just going to use tub with diverter valve set to positions that don't produce leaks. Thank you.
  3. I am in market for a no frills hot tub for a rental property in the mountains near Boone, NC. My local dealers (30 minutes away) are Hot Spring, Caldera, Bullfrog, and Jacuzzi. There is a Dimension One dealer an hour away. Two hours away is a Marquis Spa dealer and a Master Spa dealer. I also have option of a local service tech who can get me a Clearwater Spa from Washington state. The Clearwater Spa Evergreen series is thermopane insulated with ABS pan and circ pump. We get extreme winter temperatures in single digits and teens. Bullfrog I would limit to x-series as I don't want jet packs for rental property. Where should I put my money?
  4. My Bengal has started leaking from the drain tube as well. Were you able to fix this?
  5. I have a 2004 Tiger River Bengal. My Smart Jet Diverter Valve was leaking from top and I had water dripping from large white pipes under tub shell behind control panel. I replaced diverter valve and o-rings. Works great. Problem now is that water is still dripping from large white pipes under tub shell when the diverter valve is in 9 o'clock and 12 o'clock positions and pump is running. Tub does not leak unless pumps are running. The water drips down from pipes in pump compartment as well as drips out of right corner of exterior casing(tub is on concrete slab with slight pitch to right). The large white pipes coming from manifold seem very durable. Could they develop a leak? Any ideas appreciated.
