  1. Have a 2005 Tiger River (Watkins) Sumatran that I bought new. Just started to get the flashing "Power" light so I bought a replacement circ pump to install. But when I opened her up, all the PVC hoses are pretty hard. So I figure now's a good time to replace all those PVC hoses at the heater and circ pump that are readily accessible and which will be disturbed during pump replacement. 1. is PVC the best hose to use for the 3/4" runs? Should I stick with those spring hose-clamps or replace them with worm-gear type clamps? 2. I installed 1/4" Tygon tubing about 3 years ago when I replaced the ozonator and I notice that is also very hard and brittle. Is PVC or Tygon or something else (silicone?) best for the ozonator? 3. Between the heater and circ pump there is a sched 40 PVC 90 fitting with a 1/4" (I think) nipple in there. I don't see a hose clamp where the PVC hose connects to this oddball fitting. Is the PVC hose permanently attached to this...do I need to buy a whole new assembly or is there a barb for the hose and just no hose clamp? I circled that fitting and a similar one near the bottom/center of photo. 4. There are two smaller PVC hoses...one upper left and one lower right circled on photo. Are those both 1/4"? The one on the jet pump looks a little larger. 5. Any other hoses/fittings/parts I should replace while I'm digging in? Is it worth replacing the heater now or do they last a while? Any other parts that are known to fail? I'd rather do it all now while it's convenient than have to do this mid-winter when I'd rather be soaking than fixing. I appreciate all helpful advice and comments. Thanks!
