I opened my 16x32 in ground on memorial weekend. It was a disaster. Green and murky. Soon after I was able to see bottom and there was lots of debris. Within days Of shocking and constant running of filter and backwash I was able to get things under control but for the last week I just can't get rid of the green tinge to the water. Just can't get that crystal clear look. It seems to be in the water as the deep end is greener than the shallow end. I assume it's is algae suspended in the water but it doesn't get better on a day to day basis. Pool store says chemistry is ok with exception of cya at zero. I am running DE filter on a regular schedule, no extended run times like I did at first. Does anyone have any suggestions?
