  1. Its correct Ron. You need to get the valve actuators checked by a swimming pool remodeling company as you have recently changed your house. They will solve your problems as they are experts in swimming pool services
  2. You don’t need any special tools, to remove the filter clamp band. Its less scary and easy. Follow these easy steps. If it doesn't work, you have to contact a swimming pool remodeling company which can easily handle the problem in minutes. Open the filter Remove the assembly Disassemble the assembly and discard the used grids Reassemble the assembly with the new grids Place the assembly back inside and close the tank Add the DE powder
  3. What business have you hired? Most of the work is acceptable but you can expect improvements in quite a few cases. Obviously, the testing should have been done but I'd like to add that a few of your concerns are 'nit-picking', no offense. You can take secondary advice from another businesses, if that would help.
  4. I'd suggest you take professional help for this. Since it is your first pool setup, you will require a detailed guide for completion of the pool. You can look for some local businesses to help you out. Good luck.
  5. I think you should start fresh. Drain the complete water out and then remove anything that may qualify as dirt in the pool and fill fresh water and then again look for foreign materials that are floating on the top. take it out with the net and then add chlorine to the water against the risk of algae.
  6. Hey I was going for the exact same thing. With increase in temperature the risk of algae rises. I would like to add something here not only will the pool become green or black, it will rather smell badly. And Black algae is the most difficult to deal with and hence you should open up your pool a little sooner to avoid the whole routine.
  7. Risk of algae rises with the rise in temperature so make sure you keep pool cool in summers otherwise even if you deal with algae once and get rid of it, That is a temporary solution and you might need to attend the problem very soon.
  8. Before going any further, you should consult re-plastering and re-modeling experts as they can provide you with reliable solutions. I already went through the same situation, then my friend told me about many re-modeling and re-plastering companies like Valley Pool Plaster and Blue Haven. You can contact their experts and discuss your issues with them.
  9. There are many affordable ways through which you can give a different look to your pool like re-plastering your pool or you can decorate your garden area with beautiful flowers that will enhance your pool area.
  10. Our backyard pool has serves us for more than 20 years and now it is high time that we plan for its renovation. But, I am worried about the cost of renovation? Are there other options apart from renovating it completely? Please suggest.
