i have been nursing my 1998 Prodigy with the IQ 2000 through its senior years . Whenever i turn on the breaker, the summer timer comes on also . I checked the summer time switch and it doesn't seem to have any effect - summer timer is on regardless of switch position . This happened last spring and so i chose to " live with it " as i normally drain the tub at the start of summer. I simplly had the 8hours-off occur in the middle of the night.
Fall is now here and its tub time again , and as before, the summer timer comes on when the tub is turned on except now the summer timer stays on for 24 hours.
I really dont want to spend the money for a new IQ2020 - It's an old tub which I'd like to get a few more years out of .
As i live in a cold climate i'd be ok with dismantling the summer timer circuit altogether - is this possible ? maybe something else is the issue ? Any ideas would be appreciated
