  1. Just to follow-up for anyone in search of a fix. Even though my spa was simulating an airlock, that was not the problem. Yesterday I went and bought two 1 1/2" caps and capped my filter inlets and then cracked open to clear the lines. First line I checked was the inlet line into the pump. Sure enough the wrapper that the new filter came in was stuck right there!! Unreal!! Apparently in my haste to get the filters on I bumped the wrapper into the spa and it got sucked in. It's a clear wrapper so I just must have missed it. Either way I pulled the wrapper out and boom everything works just fine. So you may not have an airlock at all! You may just have something stuck on your pump inlet. Check there as well! I did not have any valves installed on my unit either which is why I bought the caps. If you have valves you could check this pretty quickly.
  2. Hello Folks, I have an LaSpa Mesa and it has worked great for the past few years since I moved in. It was in bad condition when I moved in and I cleaned it up. Anyways, I kept the original filters after cleaning them. Recently I was using the tub and it looked like quite a bit of "paper" was floating. I assumed the filters were so old the paper might be seperating. Not sure, either way, I got new filters. My filters did not have any numbering so i matched off size and male threaded connection. I really wasn't thinking much about installing them and the tub was running. Probably my first mistake. I'm sure some paper particles got through as one side was off for some time. Anyways I dropped in my filters quickly and screwed them in without soaking. Perhaps air got sucked in? Really not sure. Put them both on and within a minute I noticed I had 3 blinking lights and no flow out of my jets. I have tried cracking the inlet and outlet of the pump and of the heater. There was no air at those points. I have a Gecko heater with a pressure switch. Reading open across the switch so I know there's not enough pressure in the line. Do you think I have an airlock somewhere? I've tried a plunger and cracked lines in those 4 positions. Not sure what else to try. Could my motor have gotten jammed up some how? Any ways to check? When it turns on I immedietly get the blink. When I press my jet button I hear the motor click on and I know it activates. Not sure if propeller is spinning or working though. Bubbles come out of 3 corners of my jets. The 4th corner I can feel a very slight stream but no bubbles. There is enough flow for my jets to slightly spin but that's it. Any ideas? I can provide pics of anything. Sorry so lengthy...Thanks!
