  1. Thanks. I have emailed Strong twice already, and they have never replied.
  2. Thanks for the reply. Still no word on them shipping my lift.
  3. I ordered a cover lifter ( Cover Rock-it ) for my spa. It's been a week and still not shipped. I was hoping to have it before I needed to add water to my spa, as the lifter plates slide under the spa. But there's probably a chance the outside temp here might dip below freezing soon. So, my dumb question is..... How much water do I need in the tub to be able to power it up ?? I don't really want to fill it up and drain it and fill it up again within a week or so. And I figured, if there's still water in any of the lines, it would be in the lower part. I don't know how the cycles would be affected if it was at all possible. Any knowledge or other ideas would be appreciated.
  4. Thanks everyone for your comments. I have a Strong Spa and not sure if they use their own covers, or someone else's. I bought it from Costco. My cover is 9 years old, and it's right out in the elements. So it sounds like I was actually lucky. I expect the OEM cover lasts longer than replacements. I looked at HotTubWorks. Their custom made covers seem to be comparable to other brands pricing. But from what they told me, I can get it delivered in about half the time as others. Or pay about $80 more at Affordable Spa Covers for expedited. Now I just have to take a chance on one of them. Thanks again.
  5. Thanks for your reply. I'm thinking of going with Affordable Spa Covers. It's hard to find anything online about any of the companies reputation. It's difficult to pull the trigger on an online purchase for something that expensive. Especially since it's something made to order, and you can't just return it. I find it hard to believe no one on here has an opinion about their spa covers. I'm sure most people on here have bought a cover at one time or another. Maybe the forum just isn't very active. Thanks again for your time.
  6. I'm in Virginia, USA. Also, it's a Strong Evolution Spa if that matters.
  7. This has probably been asked before, but I couldn't find the topic on it. It's time to get a new cover, and I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of where the best place is to get my replacement hard cover ? I'm thinking it is cheaper to get one online, rather than a pool and spa store. But which company has the best quality, reputation, customer support etc... ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  8. Thanks for the chart. It really helps. My filter is 4 15/16" x 13 5/16" with 2 1/8" inside holes on top and bottom. I guess I need to count the pleats. What is it asking the Sq. Ft. of ??
  9. I have a Strong Spas Evolution Elements II spa I purchased from Costco some time ago. There's no mention of the replacement filter model in the manual. And I don't see anything on the filter itself. Was hoping someone had the same spa, or could tell me how to find the # through cross reference or something. Thanks.
