  1. Looking for direction on what to do. We are planning to replace our pool liner in the spring (we can do it now if that makes better sense) due to a continued leak in the liner which sits at the very bottom of the pool. We lose approximately 2-3 inches of water per week. Should we even bother to winterize and close if we are planning to replace the liner? I am expecting that we will have to refill the pool every so often during the winter months so not to loose too much water to avoid compromising the walls. Is there any benefit to winterizing if we are planning to replace? Any concerns with leaving it open all winter? I live in Chicago so winter weather can be brutal. Thanks!
