My Hot Springs Prodigy (2014?) goes into protection mode frequently - weekly - unless I change the filters. Is there any way to turn off this feature? I am surprised at the frequency with which I need to change filters.

I HAVE A HOT SPRINGS PRODIGY WITH WHICH I AM GENERALLY WELL PLEASED I FIND THAT I HAVE TO CLEAN FILTERS MORE FREQUENTLY THEN EXPECTED AS HEATER WILL TURN OFF AND TUB WILL GO INTO "PROTECTION MODE" WHEN FILTERS ARE DIRTY - PARTICULARLY THE CIRCULATOR FILTER IT SEEMS THAT IF I DO NOT CLEAN THE CIRCULATOR FILTER WEEKLY I WILL TRIGGER THIS SHUT DOWN OTHER SPA OWNERS TELL ME THAT THEY ONLY HAVE TO CLEAN ONCE A MONTH WITH NO SUCH REPERCUSSIONS IF THEY DO NOT ANY THOUGHTS?
