  1. We have the grey with black epoxy. We realized that the "jumper" on the adapter was in a plastic bag rather than on the adapter. We added that to the adapter because we don't have the firmware that says it's not needed. Everything seemed to be working fine as the flow and cell lights were on. This morning though, it's back to the "wait" and "cell reversing" and the flow light is not on and the salinity reading is --. This is a NEVER ending battle with this thing. I took a water sample to the pool store and was told the chlorine was at a 1 so it's working part of the time and acting up the rest of the time. Any solutions for this now? Thanks for all your help.
  2. We ordered a new sensor. Worked fine for a week. Got the pool chemistry correct. My pool is crystal clear. Walked past the board to see it stuck on "wait" and won't switch to "flow". Getting error codes 172/190. Is it a connection issue with the board? The salinity still reads correctly when we press the button.
  3. My Aquapure 1400 is not generating chlorine. I have no error codes and the "cell on" and "flow" lights are on so one would think that it is generating chlorine. I have the chlorine production set to run 10 hours a day at 90% due to the high temperatures in Texas. My water chemistry was out of whack but I'm working on getting it back in the recommended ranges. The pH is at 8.6, the total alkalinity is as 250 ppm, and the calcium hardness is really low at 80 ppm so I've added the recommended amount of MA and Calcium Hardness (recommended by retail pool store). My salinity is at 3500 ppm so it's right on the border line. I have the new 3 port salt cell which was replaced in November 2012. It worked perfectly fine last year, or so I thought, and now the only way I can keep chlorine in my pool is with weekly shock and chlorine pucks. Could the sensor have gone bad or is the water chemistry to blame? Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in Advance!
